You only have 5 seconds to make a first impression, so you have to make it count. Whether you’re meeting someone for the first time or giving a presentation to a group, five seconds is all you have to get their attention. Talk about pressure!
The good news is that when your first impression is a great one, you’ve gained immediate creditability. From that point on, your audience will filter the information they get from you and about you through a positive lens.
