Are your values in sync with your organization’s?

“All organizations face at least one fundamental tension: a tension between individual members’ needs and the needs of their organizations” (Conrad & Poole, 2005, p. 14).  When was the last time you thought about your core values?  Wrote them down?  And then thought about whether they were in synch with your organization’s core values.  Having open discussions about values is an important part of building open communication lines within an organization.   If you are interested in thinking about this concept further, fill out the attached worksheet.
