Lead with your head and your heart

One common indicator of leader effectiveness is the extent to which the performance of the team or organizational unit is enhanced and the attainment of goals is facilitated.   Obtaining optimal results within an organization requires transcendence to an integrated approach to viewing an organization and conflict.  To be effective leaders, lead with both the head and the heart.
